introduction
This project was initiated thanks to the special request from St Roch
Ermitage, a champagne wine maker located in the East of France. A year previous to the project, I had been working as a grape collector for this house during the harvest season, in September 2020. This crucial stage for the champagne fabrication strongly inspired the conception of this piece. Looking through archives about local and traditional wine harvest techniques was equaly important to pay tribute to this regional know-how.
